Getting Lost in it All - The Lovely Lake Lugano, Switzerland

Models, Men and Milan, Oh My! - Men's Fashion Week 2016

Whether you are a lover of “la moda” or could care less, I truly believe there is always something to be said about the inspiration that being around this hub of creative energy and "cult culture" of the fashion world brings. There is something so hungry, so driven, so inspired and so persistent about this industry.

Gluten Free Goodies - Out of Gluten, Milano

Out of Gluten is one of my favorites. Situated a few tram stops from my house, the gluten free store boasts a section filled with celiac friendly jams and bread, bookcases of gluten free grocery store items and a beautiful counter filled with sweets and other savory baked goods from their in-house bakery.

Lost in the Sunlight - Mornings in Verona, Italy

There is something about the way the light falls, like wispy, energetic flashes of sunlight across the canvas of the candy-colored, faded buildings of the old cities; scattered amongst the abundant greenery, and cascading, through the old vines amongst the yellowing leaves of fall.

Just Like Nonna Used to Make, Da Maria's - Genova, Italy

One of the things I enjoyed most about this little place, was how inviting the communal atmosphere was. Locals and a few tourists trickled in and were able to enjoy an authentic simple meal with family and friends, share tables with strangers, and relax in the laid back atmosphere.

An Afternoon of Americanos & Dolce at Al Fresco - Milan, Italy

Wow. This dessert was probably one of the most sophisticated and delicious dishes I have ever tasted. The depth and dynamic of the layered flavors, textures and tastes - the description pretty much said it all. I am drooling just writing about it!

A Brief, Salty-Air Day Dream - Boccadesse, Italy

The sky was clear and crisp, accompanied by beautiful, pillowy, white clouds, amidst the clean blue-blue air. It was a refreshing landscape in comparison to the hustle and bustle of my home-base in Milan.
